What is Midwest Offroad Expeditions (M.O.E.)?

We are a group of offroad enthusiasts, based out of Detroit, Michigan, who organize events in the Midwest area that are open to anyone who wants to participate! We hold 5-6 events throughout the year, to give participants a taste of every season.

Events are completely organized by M.O.E., including route planning, necessary event permits, and meeting locations – so participants just get to show up and enjoy the adventure!

All of our events are open to any brands of vehicles (not just Raptors), so if you have a Jeep or other brand of truck/SUV with 4×4 capabilities, we would love for you to join!

Our Logo

The Wendigo is an unusual creature from Algonquian myths, half human, half beast, embodying the dangers of Winter in the flesh. An elemental spirit of the wind and cold, it moves through the woods with preternatural stealth and speed, leaving hauntingly scorched trails of distantly spaced footprints in the snow.

The Wendigo is said to be native to the northern forests of the Great Lakes Region of the United States and Canada, which is why it was specifically selected to be the mascot for Midwest Offroad Expeditions.

Join us on our next forest adventure, and who knows…you might be unlucky enough to to meet a Wendigo in the flesh!
