Event Details
This free meet-up is planned for August 24th, and will be held at the Silver Lake ORV Area in Mears, MI. Since the event takes place on a DNR-owned property, Michigan ORV Decals (license + trail permit) are required. Additionally, Silver Lake is a State Park therefore a Michigan Recreation Passport is required. See the “Requirements” section below for info on where to purchase.

Meet at Silver Lake Welcome Center (address below) @11:30am – air down tires, attach flags, decals
*Note: The meetup on Aug 24th coincides with the end of our Coast to Coast event (which concludes at the dunes on Sunday). Due to unpredictable circumstances, it’s possible that the group members participating in the C2C event may arrive to the dunes earlier or later than the target time of 12 noon. Please keep this in mind and be patient as there are lots of moving parts with this event.
-If you arrive at the dunes earlier, you can meet the rest of the group near Test Hill (first large dune as soon as you enter the park). We will be on MOE radio frequencies
